"Multiform"
The unique “Multiform” concept truly sets Crawford International School apart from other schools in the African educational landscape. The multiform allows students to choose their uniform on a daily basis from a range of pre-selected and branded uniform items. This allows students freedom of expression within acceptable boundaries and norms and allows them to take pride in their unique and individual appearance.
The individuality of the student is celebrated which means concessions are made for religious and cultural expression within the multiform. Personal preferences are accommodated. There is no set “summer and winter uniform” allowing students to choose their particular choice of attire on a daily basis. Whilst students have opportunity to choose, they are expected at all times to present themselves neatly and to uphold Crawford’s high standards as representatives of the school.
In addition to encouraging freedom of expression, the multiform also encourages decision making and accountability in students.
