Crawford International School welcomes you to our inaugural CIS Game Jam hosted and run by Crawford Students for the Students. The event is scheduled on November 24-26 at Crawford International School.
Come Create, Play and Learn.
About the event
A Game Jam is a competitive game design and development event where participants make a video game from the start based on a theme through coding, design, and play. Participants work in teams of up to 2- 4 members of ages 14-18. Participants are generally programmers, game designers and artists.
This is an opportunity for participants to demonstrate and develop their transferable skills such as creativity, collaboration, grit, and self-efficacy. The Game Jam encourages networking and insight into the game development field for young aspiring developers and artists. It will also be an opportunity for participants to talk to invited speakers about various fields in game development and design.
Our game design and development theme and tools will be communicated during the game jam. Participants will need to have some experience with Unity Technologies and Unreal Engine tools of game development.
