We couldn't contain our excitement when Roald Cheboiwo, a talented Year 1 student, accompanied by his super-supportive dad, Mr. John Latham, brought a magnificent model of the SpaceX rocket to class today!
This extraordinary event perfectly aligns with our Year 1 class theme, "Journey to the International Space Station," where our imaginative students were assigned a thrilling project: building their very own space rockets!
Roald is a true space exploration enthusiast, and his passion knows no bounds! According to his teacher, Ms. Rachael, Roald aspires to become an astronaut in the future. How impressive is that? He even knows the name of a space rocket in Japanese!
Today, we take a moment to celebrate the incredible support and encouragement provided by Mr. John Latham, Roald's dad. By embracing his son's dreams and hobbies, Mr. John has brought a tremendous amount of excitement and inspiration to our classroom!
